We've saved 20,000 bottles!

We hit 20,000 on the water fountain in the Admin hallway!  And that's probably an under count since the counter was down while we had the filter.  Well done!

Student survey results posted to Assessment Libguide

Results from the surveys conducted this spring are now posted under "service quality" on the assessment Libguide.  Everyone should feel very good about these results!  Service was definitely rated very high.  Yes, there are some challenges, too, mostly about facilities which confirms that the new additions to T6 and other renovations were the right decisions.

Weekly Advancement Report

Week of 5/29/17

Friends $100
Information Literacy Fund $5,000

We are in the process of creating new Fund lines for specific Libraries' priorities including information literacy, diversity, teaching & learning, collections and several more.  Donors may then give funds for initiatives that are of particular interest to them.  The Information Literacy Fund was generously begun by Miriam and Tom Herin. Miriam is a member of our Friends Board. Miriam is a writer and taught composition and literature at several colleges and worked at magazines and newspapers and also as a social worker.  Tom is a retired clergyman. They retired in Greensboro and live close to UNCG so that they can enjoy the activities here.

Stay tuned for more information on these new funds!
