Smelly food reminder

For those few remaining staff on Wednesday:  remember that trash accumulated that day won't be collected until early Monday morning on January 4.  So..... depending on how you want your office to smell when you return you may want to take food garbage that day to a receptacle outside.

Happy holidays and enjoy the well-deserved break!

Heads Up - Elevator work first week of January

The elevator hoist ropes or cables need to be replaced on the 3 tower elevators.  This work will be done by taking out one elevator at a time while leaving the other 2 in operation.  This work will be done with the elevator service company starting January 4th through the 11th. Most of the activity will be limited to the elevator hoistway and the elevator equipment room.  Please be aware and more information will be provided by January 4th.

The new (for a while) Sarah Dorsey

As you know, Sarah is taking a research leave next spring.  She'll spend it in New England but she likes snow so that's ok.

David Covert will serve as Interim Head of HSML during her absence.  David worked in the HSML for several years while both an undergraduate and while he was working on his MLS. David was also an intern in ROI.  He completed his MLS from our LIS department in May 2015.

Please welcome David in January!
